Newsroom
The FCT Technologies Newsroom is where FCT publishes its own shipped work — announcements about the software the company builds, and guides that walk a small-business owner through a single decision. It launched on July 24, 2026, alongside a rebuild of this site, and every article is written by the engineer who ships the work rather than by a content team.
Announcements document real changes to FCT's own products and infrastructure: on-device speech synthesis in Transcription Studio, an MCP client built the day after that standard's 28 July 2026 revision, and the rebuild of this storefront. Guides cover one decision an owner is actually facing — choosing a first AI automation, or sequencing GEO and SEO work.
Every article carries a dated byline and Article and FAQPage structured data. Drafts come from the week's real shipped work; nothing publishes here to fill a slot.
We gave our operating layer hands. The first thing it did was stop.
The AI that runs FCT can see the screen and drive the Mac natively. On its first real job it hit a form tied to a security setting, refused to guess at a click, and handed the work back to a person.

Transcription Studio now synthesizes speech on-device, cloning a voice from a few seconds of reference audio. The engine that won ran the same model weights as the Python stack it replaced — on 346 MB instead of 2.7 GB.

The open standard for connecting AI to real tools shipped a new revision on 28 July 2026. FCT shipped its own client for it the next day, built on a rule most integrations skip: never let a connector grade its own risk.

AI automation earns its place when it removes a repeated delay without taking judgment away from the owner. What a good first project looks like, and what to keep human.

SEO gets a local business found in search results. GEO gets it understood — and cited — inside AI answers. A local company needs both, in a specific order.

FCT gave its own website the treatment it gives clients: a technical audit finally applied, a real newsroom stood up, and the public page cut down to only the two apps that have actually shipped.
